Neil Tsappis

Neil is a board performance consultant, evaluator, advisor and coach. Originally with a governance and legal background, he has worked in and around the boardrooms of FTSE companies such as Vodafone, London Stock Exchange Group and J Sainsbury’s for over 35 years. He has led businesses for many years, and held numerous directorships.
Since 2016, he has been a primary thought-leader and mover of the future boardroom and cognitive diversity. He has developed ground-breaking thinking, spoken and written on the subject of cognitive diversity as a new language to unlock team performance and the benefits of inclusion.
Dr Tamara Russell
MSc PhD DClinPsy FRSA
Tamara is a psychologist and neuroscientist. She is a visiting lecturer at King’s College, London and has worked with high performance individuals in public and private organisations.
With her dual qualifications and extensive experience, she is ideally placed to guide on the science and application of cognitive diversity.
Dr Jenny Simnett
MSc Occ Psych MBA PhD
Dr Jennifer Simnett is an experienced board director and governance professional, with over 25 years’ experience in transforming public, private and not-for-profit organisations. Her PhD was in corporate governance investigating the strategic value and dynamics of nomination committees. She has held several non-executive director roles with national charities and in social housing. She has also held varied executive director roles on diverse boards.
With over seven and a half years’ experience as chair of a people committee, Jenny has championed diversity, board appraisals and succession planning. She has mentored executive and non-executive board members to strengthen their voice on the board.
